“From a very young age I always loved food. But as an adult I tried controlling weight gain by eating very little during the day and whatever I wanted at night.

I binged when I was emotional. I exercised but I never really had any shape. And as I aged, I developed intolerances that made me feel really sick. I ended up getting quite depressed and anxious and due to my lack of food during the day, I was left with no energy and feeling exhausted.

“I’m a Type-1 Diabetic and although I am not a big person, I’ve always held my weight on my belly and on my back.

People always say to me that I don’t need to go to the gym because I’m already skinny, but to me, I don’t like what I see in the mirror. I feel self conscious about my belly and back and will always dress accordingly so that they are hidden.

I also always seem to lack energy throughout the day and am never motivated to do what I need to. To make matters a little more difficult, I also now have a Type-1 diabetic daughter in which I want to be a good role model for so I can safely show her how to manage her condition with good food and exercise.

Since working with Andy, I have finally gotten abs and got rid of my back fat!! Prior to having children, Andy had struggled with her body image from as early as the teenage years often exercising and restricting food to a point where she was always left feeling exhausted, depressed and frustrated and still not seeing any change in the mirror. These habits were carried with her until her mid 30's until she hit a snap point and knew something had to change - there was no way she could keep continuing this way - especially if she wanted to become a mother someday.

These days, Andy helps coach busy women, especially women on how to get results without using exercise like a badge of honour and eating like a sparrow. Andy now has 2 children of her own, and has successfully lost the baby weight and improved her shape on only a few hours a week, and is passionate about teaching other mum's on how to do the same.
